Once you have configured a Workspace, how do you make it truly “work” for you? Many widgets are familiar to users with experience on the CiraNet Management / Board Portal (“Classic”), such as Search, which allows a user to find owners, both current and former, invoices and workflows, vendors, and so on. This remains a powerful tool for all users in this new environment. Other widgets serve other needs; their use is as varied as the options you can choose from, but there are a few tips and tricks to using widgets that can maximize their benefit. Let’s look at some
Chart and Graph Pop-Ups.
Several widgets are presented in either pie charts of bar graphs, which is great high-level information, but what if you want to drill down to gather further details? Click on the chart to open to those additional details
Hyperlinks Through-out the Management Portal, some information is presented at a high-level with an opportunity to click on the word or number in blue to open to more detailed information. Widgets are no different. Seeing a word or number in blue invites the user to click on it to take a deeper dive.
Spacer Bar If you want a little more room for one widget over another, an option for workspaces you created from scratch is to use the spacer bar to temporarily resize the widgets for as long as you are working on that screen.
Toggle Fullscreen.
We’ve illustrated how to build a workspace displaying multiple widgets on a page, which can be convenient, but also sometimes a little space restrictive. To open a widget to a fullscreen temporarily, click on the Toggle Fullscreen icon located at the top right of each widget pane. Done? Click the icon again to return it to its original size in the window
