Description: 2nd major application front-end re-write to convert the primary web-based ERM from ASP.NET (Microsoft) to Angular (Google) to modernize the application and substantially enhance the application performance. The project involves front-end and API re-write. Multi-year project encompassing all 5 CiraNet portals. Impact: Margin expansion via productivity increase across the organization. This project is substantial as it involves a complete rewrite of the front-end user interface and the application interfaces (APIs) to the underlying database. We also took the opportunity with the rewrite to take advantage of new/different features we could leverage to enhance the user experience.
For example, we have redesigned the navigation to take advantage of the Angular framework to increase responsiveness, including page loading. We created user-configurable Workspaces to customize and increase the speed of accessing specific information and modules.
