Overview of CiraNet

In this email, we will be covering an overview of the new CiraNet that is built on the Angular web framework developed by Google.

The CiraNet Management / Board Portal has been rewritten and redesigned with an Angular web framework created by and supported by Google. The primary goals of this multi-year conversion project are to replace an outdated web framework with a modern framework and significantly increase the application's responsiveness to create a better user experience. The project is substantial as it involves a complete rewrite of the front-end user interface and the application interfaces (APIs) to the underlying database. We also took the opportunity with the rewrite to take advantage of new/different features we could leverage to enhance the user experience.

For example, we have redesigned the navigation to take advantage of the Angular framework to increase responsiveness, including page loading. We created user-configurable Workspaces to customize and increase the speed of accessing specific information and modules.Parts of the new version were first released into production in 2021 with the Association Accounts Payable Workflow (AAP WF) data entry functionality and actively used by the Payables Lockbox team at CiraConnect. Many more modules/functionality were released during 2022 and have been utilized by specific internal service teams (e.g., Customer / Resident Service Advisors) and certain beta users in various service teams to assist in testing and identifying bugs to be resolved.

As we begin 2023, we are expanding the production rollout to include a more extensive user base with many modules/functionality available for production use (e.g., CiraMail, CiraBooks, property/owner information, architectural applications, AAP Workflow, etc. Other modules/functions are in beta release, with many more coming during 2023. The CiraNet Management / Board Portal is an enormous ERM (Enterprise Resource Management) application that has taken many years to build. As much as we work to QA and test the product, we will undoubtedly continue to find bugs and areas to improve with feedback from our experienced and skilled user base. We appreciate your efforts to report/suggest these items so we can quickly fix and improve the product. As we begin the broader rollout, we first want to familiarize our users with some new features/functionality, which will take some adjustment. We also want to give our "Internal" management users a head start before opening up the functionality to external community association Board / Committee members. Our CiraConnect Communications Manager, Hamed Nouri, has begun and will continue to release a series of communications regarding these features, along with continuous product updates for early adopters. Please watch the introductory video here and learn more info via CiraHelp. The existing version of the Management / Board Portal, now referred to as the Classic version, will continue to be available and supported until all the functionality has been migrated to the new angular version and thoroughly tested in the production environment, along with all the user base having the time and training to convert over.In most cases, we will only add new functionality to the new version. The CiraConnect software development and support teams are delighted to broaden the rollout to enhance the user experience with the application. We still have a lot to do, but we hope you are as excited as we are about the new version.

Familiarity with our other portals, especially the Resident Portal, will ease the transition into the new CiraNet Management / Board Portal. Please feel free to spend time with the Resident Portal and review the following guide.

The initial landing page is called My Workspace. This differs from the classic portal, which landed on a page full of navigation icons. In the Management / Board Portal, all this navigation has been moved to the left-hand Navigation Panel, leaving the content area open for customized content.

Using CiraNet Management / Board Portal

CiraNet Management / Board Portal is using the latest version of our software, currently only accessible by our internal users (board members do not now have access.)  We are updating it regularly with new advancements and features. Do note that despite this being very stable software, the nature of how we are adding new functionality and value week after week means there is a slight chance for minor hiccups. We want to ask you to help contribute to improving CiraNet by reporting the issue to your supervisor.

Access to CiraNet Management / Board Portal To access the new functionality available, you need to use the following URL:
