About CiraVote
CiraVote is a new Voting and Surveying tool that Ciraconnect has developed. This tool allows for a community’s members to vote for board member elections, as well as create and conduct surveys for the community. This new tool includes all aspects of setting up, maintaining, and running an election or survey. There is a lot to consider as far as running board elections, both in terms of functionality and preferences based on the community needs or local law. That is available through the CiraVote application. There is also a need to have legitimate, trustworthy elections. The program is designed around multi-factor authentication. Once an election is started, a voter will receive an email with a password. They log in and make their vote section. Before they confirm, they will receive another pin code to confirm they are the participant. Overview of the functionality:
- Election
- Survey
Just like the rest of the CiraNet application, CiraVote is also built on Angular. Anyone familiar with the Management portal will have no trouble using CiraVote, too, as the overall layout and button placement is the same.
Once in CiraVote, you have the option to create a new Survey Event or Election Event.
Election Events Page
Election Events can be used to create an election for the community members to vote for new board members. Each community may have different needs as far as how their elections function. CiraVote has the functionality to adjust and account for these variations. There are a lot of adjustments that can be made when creating an election event.
The Election Events page will look slightly different depending on if a user is setting it up for the first time or visiting the page after the initial setup. When setting it up, you will need to set up the election charter and go through the Readiness steps.
When visiting an election events page that has already been set up, a user will see a few different sections that show up on the left navigation, including. Summary, Election Dashboard, Election Charter, Readiness, Notices, Votes Management, and Election Reports.

Using CiraNet Management / Board Portal
CiraNet Management / Board Portal is using the latest version of our software, currently only accessible by our internal users (board members do not now have access.) We are updating it regularly with new advancements and features. Do note that despite this being very stable software, the nature of how we are adding new functionality and value week after week means there is a slight chance for minor hiccups. We want to ask you to help contribute to improving CiraNet by reporting the issue to your supervisor.
Access to CiraNet Management / Board Portal To access the new functionality available, you need to first visit CiraNet.com, then select Management Portal Beta. (This is not currently available for Board members)
