1. CiraNet is acting abnormal. What should I do?
The first step is to use ctrl + f5 to make sure your browser has a fresh clean slate. See for a visual explanation on this.
2. How do I report a Ticket?
See Reporting a Technical Issue with CiraNet / CiraMobile for details on how to do this
3. How can Board Members submit Jira Tickets / report an issue?
The official way for a board member to report an issue is by contacting their CAM and having the CAM report the ticket on their behalf.
4. Can I reset my password by clicking on “forgot password”?
Absolutely not. This button is for board members only. To reset your password, contact your supervisor.
5. A former board member is still receiving certain reports. Why is that happening?
Please remember these instructions:
- Toggle to 'Show All' at the top of the Board/Committee Management page.
- Check if the board member is still active and elected to receive reports.
- Deactivate the executive user to stop them from receiving reports.\
6. I cannot deactivate a board/committee member because they have approval items assigned to them.
From Action, drop-down to Board Approval Setup and uncheck the Can Approve button. Save it. You can then proceed to deactivate the board/committee member.
7. Is there a report for…?
There is such a wide array of On Demand Reports that we don’t even know what is there, so they are collated in primary groups (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Financial Reports…you get the point). Each report has a title, description, and a number to help you identify what it covers. If you find one you like and will use it repeatedly, you can mark it as a favorite. Additionally, any page in CiraNet presented in a grid format can be exported and turned into a report.
8. I cannot generate a statement for a former owner.
Even if an owner recently sold, we can no longer generate a statement directly from their property account in CiraNet. If you need to run the activity for the owner once they have sold their property, you can export it from the AR Ledger.
9. I cannot generate a statement for an owner in collections.
We restrict access to the owner's account information if it is flagged as being in collections. If we discuss the account with the owner, we risk undermining the work that the attorney or agency has done to collect the debt, and in some cases, we may even invalidate the ability to collect at all. Therefore, to protect ourselves from being in that position, we restrict access. If you have a need to see account information, please reach out to your Collections Shared Services Group.
10. I cannot generate a statement for a builder/declarant.
Builders and Declarants are billed differently, and their billing statements are generated by your accounting team as a composite of all lots owned by the entity in that community. Payments are also applied separately from the owner lockbox process. If you have any questions, confer with your Financial Manager.
11. Can I approve items on the Board’s behalf?
Yes, definitely. Log in as yourself, locate the action items of the board/committee member, and work on them as if you were the member. You will see that you are approving “on behalf” of that individual, and that's how the log will show the activity as well.
12. How do I know what my Board members can see?
Throughout CiraNet, users will note symbols next to certain sub-nodes or within pages. These can help you know who the audience is for each area, as follows:
Closed Padlock: Indicates an area that is not visible to board or committee members at all.
Open Padlock: The board/committee member may be able to see the module (depending upon access settings) but only in a read-only view.
Shield: This area is restricted even to internal users. If you can see the page, you probably have access to that module.
