Community Management – Utilizing My Work Inbox Effectively

The My Work Inbox in the CiraNet Management Portal is a powerful tool designed to help community managers, directors, and assistants prioritize and complete their daily work efficiently. In this inbox, you can manage critical action items like Invoice Approvals, Mass Communication, and Violation Reviews, streamlining tasks that require focused attention.

When you open the My Work Inbox, you’ll see the default “Show My Work” view, which limits visibility to items directly assigned to you. If you have permissions as a Branch Leader or DCAM, you can toggle to “Show ALL Work” to access tasks across your entire portfolio, making it easy to track work within the team. Grouping items by Process allows you to organize tasks by type and prioritize specific actions for quicker completion, especially useful during busy periods when task lists are long.

To further enhance your efficiency, make use of Project Tasks and Internal Tasks for organizing longer projects and involving team members where collaboration is required. Project Tasks can document more complex workflows and can be updated as you progress, while Internal Tasks are ideal for managing tasks that need to remain private or only involve internal team members. Leveraging My Work Inbox in this way helps create a structured approach to handling daily demands in community management.
