In portfolio mode, a user might frequently access a specific community’s page for research or tasks. To streamline this process, they could set up a landing page in the Management Portal as their default starting point. Opting for a quick-loading initial page, the user might select the “My Communities” widget, which loads faster compared to board dashboards. This approach simplifies navigation and enhances efficiency by providing a direct path to the desired destination.
Example 2: Financial Review
When reviewing financial reports, a user may need simultaneous access to both the trial balance and Actual vs. Budget data, along with specific ledgers and areas within a community’s module. By creating a CiraBooks workspace, the user can select a community in one place and gain quick access to these review tools. When switching to another community, settings like the date range and selected funds are preserved, ensuring continuity across reviews. Additionally, using four widgets provides an optimal balance between fast loading times and efficient access to necessary tools.
The “Scroll” option appears to give the user faster access to the different widgets than the carousel method. You can experiment with the widgets you select.
Example 3: Onboarding Template
During the community onboarding process, a user can create a dedicated workspace for efficient access to the necessary functions. This specialized workspace allows for streamlined navigation and quick access to the tools required for onboarding, ensuring the process is handled smoothly and efficiently.
You can also add a temporary workspace for a specific project. For example, you need to gather pictures of all your community associations for an office picture book. You set up a new Workspace that shows Community Photos and make it your default for the time-being. Then you run through the list of communities and as you click each one, you get that community’s photos, where you can right-click and copy the photo.
