- From either the My CiraNet page or the Community View, select Reports:

- Select On Demand Report 153: Vendor 1099 Summary:

- Click on Action and then Run Report.
- The user will be prompted to choose Report Parameters, specifically the Year, which is referring to the tax year, and the applicable Vendor. By default the parameter will be for ALL VENDORS. The Location and Community are pre-selected for individuals with a single community access.
- Once the Report Parameters are selected, click on OK to generate the report, which will generate the results in a new pop up screen.

- From the Grid Features button, select Export and select one of the three options to download the results into a spreadsheet format.
- CiraConnect recommends sorting by Flagged for 1099 to view all vendors that require a 1099 form.
- Delete or hide any rows that state No.
- Inspect the report for any missing data that will be necessary to fulfill the form (Tax ID, Address, etc.)
- Update the missing data using the Vendor Management Module in CiraNet.
- Make note of the count of eligible vendors to check against the printed 1099 forms to verify you captured the correct number of vendors.
- From the My CiraNet home page, click on CiraBooks, then from the Accounts Payable menu along the top navigation bar, select Vendor 1099.
- The resulting screen will open to three panes as outlined below:
- Select the appropriate Tax Year. By default, this will be the prior calendar year.
- Check the box next to the Location Name.
- Do the same in the next pane to the left of the Community Name.
- This will allow the list of applicable vendors to populate in the right-hand pane.

Reviewing the 1099 Summary Report
Printing 1099-MISC for the Vendors

I. From this pane, the user can elect to Select All or specific vendors only. II. Vendors with a total paid below $600 for the reporting calendar year will not appear in this list by default. To see these vendors, check the box located at the top of the pane entitled Include Vendors below 1099 Threshold. CiraConnect recommends only using this option if there is a correction to be made for a vendor who was issued a 1099 in error. This box is available so a $0 balance can be selected to print a correction.
e. Select Print Selected Vendors and this action will generate a report that can be used to print the forms themselves that is delivered to the appropriate team member via email.
